With this year's Olympic Games on our doorstep, here are two great ways to to raise funds for KEEN London with the Gold Challenge.
The Gold Challenge gives everyone the chance to try out Olympic sports and raise valuable funds and we've assembled our KEEN TEAM of athletes and coaches who will be trying out five new sports. Starting with football, the team will also be trying basketball this term. Then, after Easter they'll be having a go at badminton, volleyball and boccia.
Now, to really give our team a boost, we need as many sponsors as we can find. So please visit our fundraising page at
And if that's whetted your appetite for all things Olympic, you can take part too!
From couch potatoes looking to kickstart their fitness regime to budding gold medallists - and there are 3 fantastic challenges to choose from:
- 2012km Challenge. Pick your sport then complete a “2012” challenge by covering 20.12km, 201.2km or – if you’re really adventurous – 2012km. There are all sorts of sports to choose from…on land or water, by foot or on bike or horseback.
- Olympic Sport Challenge. Try 5, 10, 20 or even 30 different sports. Learn the basics and take part in training sessions as you compete against your team-mates and other teams
- Gold Challenge In A Day. A series of challenges to be completed over a day in a gym or outdoors, including running, rowing, swimming and cycling
