Who
pays for KEEN?
KEEN is financed entirely by donations and grants. These
funds are used to buy equipment and hire sporting facilities, and to
employ a co-ordinator to recruit volunteers, liaise with parents and arrange the sessions. All KEEN
activities are free for all the children and volunteers who take part.
Special events held throughout the year for the athletes and regular training
sessions for coaches necessitate further expenditure. Contributions of
all sizes are most welcome.
More details of our finances and how KEEN London provides value for money
can be found in our budget. Please contact us if you would like to see a copy...
To add to the value of the donations that we receive, the volunteers
who spend their time and energy organising and running activities invest
approximately 48 hours a week in KEEN - that's worth at least £25,000
in paid staff! This means that we can keep our admin costs to a minimum.
So you can be sure that your donation will be spent directly on our projects
and will make a difference to the children who come to KEEN.
