Good at fundraising?

KEEN Co-ordinatorsKEEN London is the only charity in the capital providing one-to-one support at free sports and activity sessions for children with disabilities.  We have tripled in size in the last five years and have ambitious plans to grow even further.  To help us achieve these goals, we are looking for an experienced fundraiser to manage our fundraising strategy and tell the amazing KEEN story to more grant-givers.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Take a critical look at our current fundraising plan and let us know what we could be doing better
  • Suggest new avenues for fundraising, including trusts & foundations; corporate partnerships and fundraising events
  • Prepare compelling bids
  • Provide reports to the board of trustees

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who understands the sector and has significant expertise in bid-writing, especially with trusts and foundations. Some experience of charities in the children & young people or disabilities sectors would be preferable (but not vital).

We need someone who is a self-starter, with excellent writing and selling skills. As a small charity, someone who can work independently, with the support of a committed team, would be a great asset.

Time commitment: TBC but in the range of 1 – 2 days per week

Location: from home, with occasional office visits (Hackney)

Rate: TBC based on skills and experience.
