Become A Coach
Could you join our passionate team of KEEN coaches and be a catalyst for positive change, empowering our athletes to be the best they can be?
What does volunteering as a coach look like?
During a typical KEEN London session, you’ll provide one-to-one support to an athlete, helping them to access all the activities on offer, achieve their personal development goals, and of course have tons of fun! You can expect to get involved with a wide range of playground games, ball games, nature walks, and creative activities. From time to time we also run trips for our athletes, and previous trips have included trampoline parks, high ropes courses, pedalo boating and slime-making classes.
When day and time can I volunteer?
Our volunteers are needed from 10:00 and 14:30 on Saturdays in term time.
Do I have to volunteer every week?
No, we don’t expect you to volunteer every week, twice a month is perfect, allowing you and our athletes the time to build relationships so you both get the best out of KEEN Club sessions.
Do I need experience?
No you do not need any experience, just a willingness to learn and have fun. We will provide you with all the training you need and there is always plenty of support at sessions.
Where are your KEEN Club sessions?
We have three sites across London all with good public transport links.
North: Wembley
East: Hackney
South: Lambeth
